I was a soccer mom for many years, with two out of three daughters playing for the Boise Capital Soccer Club. My husband, Ric, has been a Capitals coach for the past twenty-one years. He started out coaching our daughters and just couldn't seem to give it up when our girls were done. Now, I am a soccer widow!

I know how hectic life can get with running kids to and from practice several nights a week and games all day (it seems) on Saturday.

Being born in Costa Rica you can't help but be a soccer fan! Back when I was growing up girls didn't play soccer much, so we'd always attend my younger brother's games.

Marco Castillo is my brother and coaches U 11 and U 13 girls for Boise Capital Soccer Club.
